Week 1 into my new role and it quickly became apparent how difficult our recruitment drive was. We’d been unable to fill a vacant position for over 5 months. I organised a meet and greet with Kieren and site tour. Kieren was really keen to understand about me as a manager, my team, the culture, the setup and my vision for the future. This has always been really important to me and trying to find somebody that not only meets most of the job spec but also someone that would fit into our culture is a hard ask. Generally recruiters just fill my inbox with CVs and salesman type pitches and it stops there. On week 2 we had a really heart fluttering candidate who has since been offered the role and has started working with us. He has great potential and won’t be long until he moves through the ranks. Throughout the whole process Kieren has been really easy to work with and accommodating to our needs. On our second drive we hit stumbling blocks but again Kieren really helped break any barriers down, listened to my feedback, and adjusted his criteria to match the profile I wanted. Kieren and Hunters have become my main source of recruitment support and I wouldn’t look to change that based on the service I have had!
