I am part of the family run crane hire business known as, McGovern Crane Hire and Contract Lifting, I'm proud to have been basically born into the industry, slowly going from strength to strength as the years go on. Starting from tea boy, all the way up to being the UK's youngest person to pass the CPCS Appointed Person Course, Which i am very proud of, I've learnt all that i know from my very knowledgeable Granddad (Tommy) and Uncle (Eddie) who are both very well know figures in the crane hire industry, I'd like to think that they have both taught me how they've been doing this job for all these years and i have implemented that into today's understanding of the industry, Cranes is who i am, it's what i love, it's sad, but not as sad as someone who has a career in something they're not bothered about, I'm truly passionate about cranes and that makes my working week much more pleasurable, It's more like a hobby, not work.
