I had the pleasure of working with Kieran and launching our Sendmarc partnership during my time at FirstNet. I couldn't be more impressed with the level of knowledge and professional focus he brings to the table. Doing business with Kieran was a seamless experience, and he always went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. Our business partnership with Kieran was incredibly successful and I credit much of that success to how simple it was to do business together. He was always available to answer questions and provide support, and he consistently exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Kieran for anyone looking for a business partner who is knowledgeable, dependable, and truly committed to their clients' success. He is a true asset to any team and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with him.

Kieran joined the MEA Software team to lead the engagement across SSA region. During his impactful stint at IDC, he brought the strong balance within the team who was not only adding immense values but also uplifted the level of SW and Cloud engagement within the region. Apart from being a great speaker and a writer, he proved to be a great team player who loves to share the burden and always lend his helping hand. An extremely committed individual who does not shy away from entering an unknown territory and yet come out with flying colors at the end. Working with him was a real pleasure. He is definitely a great addition to any organization.

Ignite is part of the Internet Solutions group of companies, and is focused on the SME market. As a product manager in this space, my key functions follow the full lifecycle of a product. From ideation, to modelling products from a process perspective (ie. buy, provision, support processes), to commercial modelling (development of business cases for new products) as well as ongoing management, until retirement of that product. I am also responsible for delivering training for our sales and operational teams and developing marketing content where relevant. The technology stacks on which I am focused on are our IaaS offerings, VOIP, Mail (and mail security) and productivity through Office 365. Previously, my role was centered around empowering sales. This means that I was responsible for the crafting of value propositions through the breadth of the product base, acting as an interface between sales, marketing and product, training the sales teams, and more broadly defining Ignite's GTM capabilities.

As a Solutions Consultant my primary responsibility was to craft solutions that drive business outcomes. My role is therefore client-facing, with an emphasis on both a commercial and technical understanding of the product sets within my portfolio. This requires a passion for teamwork within a time sensitive and pressure-filled environment. Thus, the skills required include: project management, people management, technical understanding, sales and negotiation, amongst others. This role has exposed me to many organisations that occupy the top echelons of corporate South Africa and has afforded me the ability to have conversations that resonate at the CxO level.

I was lucky enough to be afforded one of thirteen positions on the Dimension Data Graduate Accelerate Program. The program is a two year contract, with the first year being spent rotating through various functional areas - including Group, Marketing, Sales and Services - and through the subsidiaries of Dimension Data (Plessey, Internet Solutions and Merchants). The program allowed me to interact with industry leaders in the ICT space, gain experience in various disciplines and, most importantly, make an informed decision about my career, all the while creating valuable and lasting connections with individuals from across the group.

As a consulting writer for CSI Africa, I created documents ranging from reports to the JSE on CSI activities, through to writing portions of a large enterprise's Annual report. My favourite piece of work was related to replicating an existing model for building schools in an effort to address the backlog in school infrastructure at a national level.
