This role encompassed complete P&L responsibility for the region, recruitment and acquisition of initial human talent, understanding the vast variety of legal environments throughout APAC, hands on leadership for acquisition of lighthouse accounts in new regions, customer success pathway, key product development roadmap priorities, leading Mews culture in APAC and connection of APAC operations to the European HQ. I developed a deep understanding of Travel Tech, Fin Tech and the relating business operations and technical roadmaps. Mews, unfortunately, was hard hit during the COVID-19 pandemic with significant exposure to payments systems in the hospitality sector.
