Here I created and ran engaging arts, design and sports activity sessions for groups of up to 30 children. The children attending the activities were from a variety of countries around the world and aged between 12-16. The main focus of the activities was to encourage the students to improve their English language skills through engaging with other students. This was achieved via creating fun and challenging tasks to be carried out within mixed groups of pupils. 3D Design Intern

Over the 6 week internship that I spent at Bearded Kitten, I worked on a number of different projects for a range of large companies including Amazon, Boomtown Festival and Lagunitas Beer. I partook in a wide range of design activities including 3D design, CAD modelling, graphic design & planning. I also worked on installation for both the Amazon and Boomtown projects as an on-site designer. I spent a season co-hosting a 16 bed luxury chalet. My duties included cooking, cleaning and hosting. My chalet was rated 3rd best out of over 300 chalets across Europe on customer feedback. During the time I spent at this company I gained an insight into the design world and learnt about the design process, I spent time with the design and development team, learning how they took a new product from concept to prototype. I designed an exterior light housing using Solidworks and helped out with a photo shoot for the on-line catalogue.
