This role involved cash handling and managing, the responsibility of opening and closing the branch and providing excellent customer service and advice in foreign exchange.I assisted with the opening of several new branches across England and Wales and progressed as a trainer for new cashiers joining the company - this process involved a four week one-to-one basis of on-the-job training under my responsibility. I have been given many opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills as I covered managing two branches for a week whilst in full time employment over the summer term. This has allowed me to gain hands on experience in a management role.

I worked as an assistant to the cashiers, assisting them where I could to ensure that the fast paced serving was upheld and the branch continued to exceed their targets. Pro-dominantly the job role involved cash handling and counting, as well as most importantly required me to work quickly yet with precision. I have since progressed within the company as shown above. My job role involved a range of activities, predominantly I was responsible for researching venues and adding extensive listings onto the website. I was at Argos during the Christmas period on a temporary contract; I was responsible for picking the ordered products within a three minute time limit whilst ensuring that the stock levels of that particular product were as stated. I also directly served customers which developed my communication skills extensively during my time at Argos.
