Estes Park There's a saying that goes, "If you love what you do, you'll never work another day in your life." So I finally pulled the plug, did a lot of research, advice gathering and started my own business. I am the owner and lead guide of Alpine Mountaineering. I take clients up to the high peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Elk Wilderness to teach them safe skills and climbing philosophy. Front Desk Manager
-
May 2013 - Sep 2013
Estes Park In addition to the regular Front Desk responsibilities which, on occasion I will delegate to co-workers, as a management figure, I ensure that my guests are satisfied while on holiday by taking the extra time to talk with them, often about family and to provide the information they crave, whether that's restaurant info, trails/camping, the area climbs, local valley history or other non-wilderness activities. Left the property early due to the floods that devastated Estes Park and Lyons.

I talk to guests at length, provide local restaurant info, area history, trails and climbs in the valley and even taking guests to particular locations (when necessary) in my own vehicle. I try to take the stress out of their stay with us!
