Key responsibilities include: - Developing informed and strategic policy positions that align with the needs of our members - Engaging a diverse range of stakeholders to foster collaboration and achieve our objectives - Driving media coverage on issues relevant to our members and shaping public discourse - Supporting our bargaining teams to secure favorable outcomes for our members - Strengthening relationships with government officials and policymakers to advance our advocacy efforts Under my leadership, the Policy and Communications department has significantly increased its success in advocacy through a more strategic focus on key issues and targeted engagement.
