I intern at Sandstone Elementary for 4 hours a week and help out with Mrs. Jacobs 5th grade class! I absolutely love it and enjoy helping the kids learn math. Later on in the internship, I will possibly go help the 4th and 3rd grade students. I am very hopeful for what the next couple of months have in store! I would work with a team to serve custard to over 300+ customers a day. Some nights we would get close to 500. I worked in a fast-paced work environment with hard working co-workers and from them I also became a hard worker. While working with customers, it was very important to have a good attitude and to be very welcoming towards customers as they walked in or as they ordered. I learned through this experience patience, good hospitality, time management skills, and overall more kindness. This job helped me become a lot more responsible and I am still this way today.
