It is rare that you find a knockout talent like Kia. I have had the pleasure of knowing him for almost 2 years at this point and he is the first person that comes to mind when I think of overall success. I met Kia when I was a grader for his Data Structures class and he immediately stood out to me because of his ability to communicate how he was solving problems in the class. Our conversations over the weeks led to him becoming a better engineer and on the road to better C++ understanding. Aside from functional programming, Kia is also interested in UI/UX design. Chasing this passion has led him to becoming VP of Professional Development for a design club on campus. Kia has done nothing but thrive in this leadership role, mentoring new members and hosting workshops where he teaches them the basics of UI/UX design. Never have I met a person more suited to thrive in this fast-pacing tech industry.
