I am blessed to work with a multidimensional critical thinker, Kian. In this regard, I always enjoy our ideation sessions in which we find a new aspect to consider. Moreover, his tendency to create extraordinary results is admirable. I really enjoy this trait of his since it motivates you to deliver your best version. Additionally, he is the kind of manager who delegates tasks in a way that you have the freedom of choice in your job. This helps the creative process of getting responsibilities done.       Being a harsh critique of the way Design were taught as I experience it from day one of my teaching I was looking for a differentiator. Years went by and I realized I have learned so much from my students that the first question just vaporized. It was no longer a seeking mindset to make a design class different and effective, It was happening naturally and innately. The way I teach is to expose my students to real life challenges waiting for design thinkers to solve them. I bring new industry-based terminology into the class and it works. One thing I realized was that language as a tool is as powerful and mandatory as techniques and softwares we usually use to solve problems. New terminology makes the mind able to ideate in a different manner and hence be much more equipped and produce much more divergent solutions. Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking and creative ideation theories and practices have become constant (though ever changing from within) of my talks.
