  The Amsterdam Circular Challenge is a competition between teams of high potentials to produce new solutions for concrete circular challenges of housing corporation Eigen Haard, the City of Amsterdam, Waternet (the Amsterdam water company) and AEB Amsterdam (the Amsterdam waste to energy company). Me and my team focused on finding a sustainable solution to create a new product for the paper pulp that is currently being extracted out of Amsterdam canals by Waternet. We found that we could extract cellulose out of dried paper pulp to produce a thread. With this thread we can develop clothes in a sustainable way that is locally produced. Show less
