  As the LRDC's communications assistant, I work on a variety of tasks each week, including weekly announcement newsletters, website editing, report draft editing, writing accolades, writing up notable research for PR and journalism pitches, and managing LRDC social media on Twitter and Facebook. I design and publish visuals for weekly updates that promote the center's research, faculty, and awards. Along with this, I track the weekly research/awards/grants production on Excel, update the website portal, and use a variety of excellent resources such as Excel, Canva, and Powerpoint on a daily basis.
