I worked with Keith at the United Way of New York City where he always impressed me with his my integrity, project management skills, and the clarity with which he explained technical issues. Keith's ability to both understand, and explain, the role of data analysis in making social change impressed me. Any team would be lucky to have him on board for data collection and analysis.

I had the pleasure of working with Keith at United Way of New York City. I hired Keith as Director of Evaluation. Keith quickly dove in and assessed all our education data and set forth in creating data collection and assessment protocols. He exhibited superior analytical skills and a keen eye for details. Keith is highly ethical, a problem solver, and diligent. I highly recommend Keith in the field of research and evaluation.

Reading proficiency by third grade is the most important predictor of high school graduation and career success. Yet in the Mott Haven community, only 3 in 10 students are reading at grade level proficiency by the 3rd grade. Through ReadNYC, UWNYC partnered with community based organizations to address literacy needs through a two-generational collective impact framework. As the Director of Evaluation and Learning, I synthesized a four-year retrospective of ReadNYC’s impact of over 1,000 students, their families and teachers. I developed reporting and data management systems structured around a two-generational service model. I also collaborated with Marketing/Communications team to advise on program impact and determine positioning. During my time at UWNYC, I was awarded evaluation approval through NYC Department of Education Institutional Review Board.

As an adjunct professor, I helped student explore culture, society and inequality through lectures, media presentations and classroom discussion. I fostered discussion and assigned projects applying theoretical concepts to current events and daily life. I also conducted individual meetings to develop students’ personal interests and address classroom concerns. Breaking Ground is the largest supportive housing provider in NYC and provides homeless outreach in Queens, Brooklyn and parts of Manhattan. There mission is to strengthen individuals, families and communities by developing and sustaining exceptional supportive and affordable housing as well as programs for homeless and other vulnerable New Yorkers. As part of a growing research team, I developed KPI dashboards and insights for 17 supportive housing and homeless outreach programs. I analyzed incident, work order, and rent data to help staff direct social services to tenants in need. I reported on rents and arrears from over 2,500 supportive housing units equaling over $2m per month. These projects often included partnered with IT, Finance and Operations to advance strategic initiatives and develop technical life-cycles.

As an Adjunct Professor I developed my own curriculum around the sociological perspectives of "the family". The course allowed students to compare their family to those around the world through writing intensive projects. As Teaching Assistant to Matthew Weinshenker, Ph.D. and Grigoris Argeros, Ph.D. I helped administer and grade exams as well as track attendance. I also developed and led classes on social research methods and SPSS. As an Adjunct Professor I developed my own curriculum around the sociological perspectives of "the family". An opportunity typically reserved for graduate students, my time at the "congressional watchdog" gave me experience in government investigation and research. During my tenure, I interviewed experts in the mining industry to assess compliance and feasibility of federal regulations. As part of an evaluation team, I evaluated 1,000+ cases of worker compensation to uncover system faults leading to $8b in overpayments. In addition, I had the opportunity to explore the nation's capital and attended Congressional meetings to keep team members apprised of issues pertaining to ongoing projects.

After basic and military police training, I volunteered for a tour in Iraq, As part of the initial spearhead into Baghdad, my team participated in multiple force protection missions including ad hoc military bases, police stations and central pensioners’ bank. We investigated conflicts and alleviated civilian violence among diverse sects of Baghdad populations. We collaborated with Iraq Police Force to understand and improve policing and community building techniques. After returning home, I developed a training for outgoing soldiers that emphasized real life lessons and cultural awareness,
