I've known and worked with Kevin for over seven years, first at Bain and then NBA. My team and I enjoyed working with Kevin very much. He is good at thinking through problems strategically, understanding what customers want, providing creative solutions, motivating and leading other team members, and then fully executing a plan. For example, for NBA China Games, our annual marquee event, Kevin managed the marketing campaign. In addition to the normal media planning and purchases, working with internal colleagues and external agencies, he also launched a very successful social media viral campaign called NBA SuperFans that received a lot of positive comments and has since been replicated for many other regions. He understands who the targets are, how to reach them, what gets them excited, and most importantly, turn these insights into actionable items and then execute the plan exquisitely. That's what I find the most impressive about him - his ability to combine traditional marketing with strategic and creative thinking, project management skills, motivation, leadership, etc. We were sad to know he needed to relocate to San Francisco for family reasons, but feel strongly that he'll be a great asset for any future organizations he works for.

I had the pleasure of working regularly with Kevin during his tenure in China with the NBA. In addition to being a thoughtful and diligent colleague, Kevin is a smart, creative and passionate marketer who successfully developed, promoted and managed several high-profile projects of great importance to us back in the home office. We're going to miss him greatly.
