Aided in creating the racial equity report for DYFJ to measure the disproportionate rate at which Black and Latino/Hispanic youth and families were involved with the justice system. - Researched the effectiveness of reentry programs, and the mental health effect of the excessive use of restraints against youth. - Developed solutions to implement oversight measures within the agency to ensure that youth receive the services needed to minimize recidivism. - Conducted literature reviews, connected with local and national experts on areas surrounding youth justice.
