Khanyi and I worked together at a start up. She was a pleasure to work with for many reasons. Most importantly she has exceptional EQ - in our growing team, her interpersonal skills were highly valued, coupled with energized and positive approach to problem solving. She is practical, adaptive and takes full responsibility for her own delivery - soliciting guidance where required and taking initiative where she trusts her judgement. She is collaborative and engenders trust and without specifically being asked, take an interest in developing or guiding her peers when they needed help. I recommend her most highly for people facing roles where relationship and/team development is important. I see her taking strong leadership positions in her future career.

Working with Khanyisile was blissful, she was a fast learner and extremely enthusiastic at all times. Her writing and photography skills were exceptional and she was a collaborative team player.

Research focused on the dangers and consequences of fire outbreaks within informal settlements it also touched on reblocking the settlements. The research had the stance that did not put the blame on citizens who were victims of fire but instead focus on how their lives would have been if they had had better infrastructure.
