Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to the following:• Oversee the regional operations in the absence of the Regional Manager.• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the Regional Coordinators and Consultants implementing Discretionary & Pivotal programmes in the region.• Participate in all project scoping meetings related to the approval of funding for regional projects.• Introduce proper strategies to ensure efficient monitoring of project implementation• Assisting stakeholders with the submission of WSP/ATR & application for Pivotal & Discretionary Grants.• Induction & on-boarding of new employees • Coaching & Mentoring of staff & ensuring that staff & stakeholders are capacitated in all processes.• Assisting stakeholders with the implementation of learning programmes / training interventions, i.e. Learnership, Workplace Experience, Internships, AET, Bursaries, etc. • Ensure timeous submission of regular and consolidated progress reports to the Regional Manager, relevant departments and other meetings, as per agreed timeframes.• Preparing & compiling a budget breakdown for each project.• Assist the Regional Manager in ensuring disbursement of funds in line with the project payment schedule.• Monitoring progress of all learning programmes using implementation plan(s) submitted by participants• Approval of funding for Discretionary & Pivotal Grants.• Verify of data on the SETA IT as well as project administration systems.• Attend to various stakeholder queries in support of Regional Coordinators and Consultants.• Adhere to effective project closure processes and guidelines.• Ensure efficient use of SETA financial resources and assets. • Ensure compliance with SCM requirements, risk management and fraud prevention policies.Perform any other duties and functions that may be required by the organization from time to time
