I attended a four-day residential at the University of Cambridge. I received 25 minute lectures on different areas of law, from university lecturers. I gained knowledge on several areas of law, such as international law and land law. It was a valuable experience that secured my decision in wanting to pursue law. I attended a virtual conference hosted by LSE. The conference consisted of Q&A sessions, lectures, an insight into being a student at LSE and the application process for LSE. I entered a mooting competition and was one of 18 out of 100 applicants, chosen to participate. Every week, me and my mentor would have to create a skeleton argument and a bundle of authorities and hand them in at a specific time. We would then moot via zoom. I did admin work such as answering phone calls and responding to emails so I also shadowed an apprentice and was able to see the tasks she would complete such as applying for Visa and work permits.
