      Placement year at MRI Software where I worked in Application Support Analyst, therefore handling our day to day clients issues on our software (Horizon) . This entailed me to investigate either the front end or back end our software whenever a client raised a case regarding a problem they are having, whether it be an error they're unaware of or questions on processes in the software they would like more knowledge on. Front end cases would be me logging on as an admin onto the clients environments to determine what the issue is and whether it would need a script to be solved or just simply telling the client which areas to re-edit for the error to be dismissed. If the cause of the issue is not seen in front end of Horzion I'd have to go to the back end and debug the area in which the error is occurring. From there it would be creating the script that would solve the issue. Show less
