  Foreign Purchasing Dept. Head• Prepare and issue the tender documents, receive the offers, co-ordinate with the end user department for any technical queries or clarifications that might be required to finalize the technical evaluation, then compare prices for the technically accepted offers, carry out negotiations (if necessary), issue the purchase order, follow up the delivery and ensure final receipt and acceptance of materials at site, review and release the suppliers invoices then follow up the payment with the Finance Dept. to ensure that payments are made in due time. • Participate in the periodical evaluation of suppliers and update the vendors list. • I supervise junior staff at Foreign Purchasing Dept. & reporting to the Materials Assistant General Manager.• Maintain records of status for all tenders (either those under process or the finalized tenders).• Request the staff under my supervision to provide / update the status record on regular basis to keep an eye on the level of performance also to review and take any corrective actions in the delayed tenders.
