I worked with Khaled for quite long time. Khaled played the role of SW PM for several projects within my department, at that time I can't recall any severe topic that was escalated or popped up not because the nature of the project was calm but due to the good monitor and control done by Khaled. He used to go into all details and identify possible risks with a very solid plan to avoid such risks or at least minimize their impact. The SW PM doesn't have a hierarchical or functional link to the team, however Khaled manages his relations with the team in a very smooth way. Once Khaled promoted to the Department Head for Projects, he played a different role of managing the SW PMs. During that time he could ramp-up a team with a very good skills. His team reached around 30 members. He was following up on the project performance through KPIs and dashboard he created which used for reporting as well the project status to top management. His support and building team technical skills is really good and his team was happy working with him all the times as his directions and feedback to them was based on facts and data he used to depend on for any type of activities requested from him. I was happy to have Khaled in my team and I would be happy to work with him again. I strongly recommend him for leading PM activities.

Khaled is very professional manager, and energetic leader. Khaled is a guru in project management, he is mastering both management style; managing through people and he was very good at it. He trust his team and give them the chance to act and then give them guidance to adjust and correct their actions if needed. It was pleasure to work with him to learn by example; Khaled was always there anytime to give support relentlessly. Khaled is very professional and he used to be a result oriented and seeking to have thing in its perfect way. Khaled is a good team manager who left a fingerprint with everyone he worked with him. The other main things that I loved while working with Khaled, he was aware of the details of all running project as if he was managing all projects by himself, you can jump to his office to discuss any project status to request support and you will find him up to date and have always many solution. Worth to mention that however Khaled managed a big team and have many program manager (manage sub team of Project leader & projects) reporting to him directly his technical skill is to the professional level as if he extensively using in running project by himself. Khaled used to take initiatives and was able to work on it and make it into practice, which ensure the return back from the initiatives into the project management team. In people management he was my mentor he gave me support when I needed it, he also have always smart solution for project leader assignation and switching between projects swiftly to handle shortage in resources. He also supporting in handling difficult team members and difficult confrontation in many situation. He always hear to him team, give solution, meanwhile he was always transparent and firm, he never used promises to handle situation unless it is fact. Khaled was my manager sometime directly and indirectly other times.
