A fire fighting system is executed according to the NFPA. I worked there as a mechanical site engineer, from the first fix till the Defect Liability Period, on HVAC, plumbing, fuel, and fire fighting systems, on Air&Water balancing, testing & commissioning of chillers, boilers, pumps, fans, energy meters, valves, tanks, softeners, RO system, reflective and swimming pools, on BMS and on fire alarm system (Cause&Effect Fire Matrix). I did also sound studies for the units (that are handed with acceptable NC and flow and performance), reviewed design, supervised shop drawings, prepared submittals and reports, take-offs and some orders, supervised the site (solved problems, directed and managed 8 foremen and over 80 technicians and workers), monitored and controlled modifications, coordinated with other departments, the Engineer, decorators, suppliers and sub-contractors, prepared the handing-over documents, did training sessions for maintenance team and attended the closure meeting in order to collate lessons learned.
