There are two things I look for when I hire a new candidate. One, whether the individual has a good personality. Two, whether the individual has the passion to do a great (not good) job. I believe Khairul has two of these things in spades. He was hired to help us with the overwhelming workload at Geometry, and I'm happy to report that he's doing a great job. Albeit a little rough around the edges, he takes tough challenges on the chin, and has demonstrated time and time again, a keen ability to learn. When he's put in an uncomfortable situation like presenting to a client, he doesn't say no. Instead, he says, "I'll try". When he's asked to refine the copy, he doesn't bicker or argue, he asks, "How?". And when he's told that he's done something incorrectly, he says, "Sorry, won't happen again." These type of attributes cannot be learned a lecture hall or 4 by 4 classroom; it's innate and extremely invaluable. That's why I think Khairul is a great asset at Geometry, and he will continue to be an even better asset when he's hounded by headhunters and other organisations.
