A week of Work Experience at Equistone where I got to meet workers from Accounting, Legal team, ESG team, Finance, Marketing, Valuations and IR teams. I studied private equity and worked on a project with task of evaluating companies to invest in. I presented this project in front of an audience. I studied the legalities around becoming a client, investing in businesses, the risks and benefits, and how to improve a business. The Sheriff’s Challenge is an annual speaking event for teams of up to six Year 12 students across schools in London. I entered the City of London’s Sheriff Challenge, where our group tackled the statement: “Post-Covid, the City will change beyond all recognition.” We won the first heat round, and then won the finals, hosted at the Old Bailey.
