Perform duties as an Information System Watch Officer, create, transfer and delete NIPR,SIPR and SCI accounts hosted on the Naval Integrated Shipboard Network System. ▪ Manage eight (8) personnel in the assigning and overseeing the completion of 700 trouble tickets for both hardware and software issues. ▪ Monitor, test, troubleshot, and maintain Windows operating systems hardware and software. ▪ Proficiently monitor, evaluate, and enhance IT infrastructure with an emphasis on availability, scalability, reliability, security, data confidentiality, and system integrity. ▪ Maintain ten (10) domain controllers, five (5) exchange server, two hundred and twenty (220) workstations. ▪ As IA administrator, enforced security policies on both classified and unclassified networks. ▪ Perform operating system software upgrades (Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2 and 2012), software installation and patches while ensuring optimal experience for end-user. ▪ Sole NIAPS (Naval Information/Application Product Suite) administrator, ensured that replication was provided for numerous applications while maximizing the use of limited bandwidth afloat. ▪ Investigating, resolving and closing end-users reported hardware and software issues via afloat Microsoft SharePoint ticketing system. ▪ Install and configure software patches to ensure systems meet stringent Department of Navy security standards. ▪ Perform initial setup, configuration, and testing of new operating systems, software, and hardware platforms. ▪ Utilize centralized network management tools to ensure system reliability.
