Head of Development in Florida for AMLI Residential. Started AMLI Development Company's Florida Corporate office. As a Senior Real Estate Development Executive I managed the Development and the Design of 4 new Apartment Developments in Florida totaling 1,700 new Apartment units. Responsible for all development activities including sourcing land sites, underwriting developments, getting entitlements and permits, managing architects engineers and all other consultants, very involved in the design process including designing floor plans for apartment units, interior design for amenity spaces, designing the exterior of the building, selecting all finishes and fixtures for the apartments and the amenities, negotiating contracts with general contractors, negotiating contracts with subcontractors, managing the construction process, overseeing lease ups until 90% occupancy. Developed a 719 unit mid-rise luxury apartment development in Midtown Miami which is one of the largest apartment developments in South Florida. Developed a 286 unit mid-rise luxury apartment development in Plantation, Florida. Developed a 325 unit mid-rise luxury apartment development in Sunrise, Florida. Developed a 300 unit garden style luxury apartment community in Miramar, Florida.

Worked on the design and construction of City Center Plaza from the initial design phase through the construction phase. I worked on the design team throughout the design phase and then I led NBBJ’s construction administration efforts for 18 months during the construction phase gaining valuable experience in the field at the job site working with the owner, developer, general contractor, design consultants, the city, and the subcontractors. This experience has served me very well in my career as a Real Estate Develop. This project is a 26 story high rise office building with a four story below grade parking garage, a large outdoor public plaza, as well as a retail component with a steakhouse and Starbuck’s on the ground floor in Bellevue, WA. The office floors are fully leased by Microsoft. I accomplished this while working at NBBJ's headquarters in Seattle, WA.
