The system facilitates the catalog review process, and has dramatically improved the workflow by increasing efficiency and ease of use by faculty, department chairs, and the registrar and academic affairs offices.- Implemented coding standards, best practices and development process for the applications team, improving code quality and relations with other departments.- Identified and reported numerous critical security issues with the university’s ERP software vendor, prompting immediate action from the vendor and a service release which also affected hundreds of other universities.- Identified performance issues with existing web applications and rewrote them to increase efficiency, capacity and resolve severe bottlenecks for customer applications.- Proposed and implemented Subversion as the revision control system for the university, greatly improving team collaboration and document access across departments.
