May 2011 - Aug 2011
• Part of a small team that developed plan to broaden the International Court of Justice's ("ICJ") Advisory Jurisdiction. • Worked with Managing Directors of multi-national non-governmental organizations, Legal Advisors for Permanent Missions to the United Nations and helped assemble a coalition of nations and international organizations. • The International Court of Justice Jurisdiction Project advocates for the expansion of access to the United Nations’ (UN) International Court of Justice (ICJ). As international collaboration becomes more a part of everyday life, every nation – no matter its size or status – should have the opportunity to request a non-binding, advisory opinion from the ICJ. This would herald a long-awaited era where every nation can access accountability. Show less
