Kevin is quite brilliant at connecting people and making things happen. I represent a nonprofit charity called Socks 4 Souls Canada. We collect and donate new socks for the homeless. Kevin heard about us on a radio sock drive and facilitated a donation of 650,000 pairs of new socks. These socks likely would not be bought and will now be on the feet of homeless people. With this one connection, he has saved the company money for the storage of goods and has improving the lives of several thousand people he doesn’t even know, giving them warmth, comfort, health and mobility so they can seek food shelter and medical attentions . I have had the great pleasure to meet Kevin on our journey to complete our MBA through Ivey. Through the course of 18 months, I recognized Kevin's valuable ability to bring teams together through understanding people and finding qualities & skill sets in each person that would support the success of the overall performance of any team. He is truly a focused, disciplined individual; who finds creative ways to set himself apart from others. In having Kevin as a member of my learning team; I could always rely on him as could the rest of the team. He would spend countless hours to support the team in ensuring we always delivered a top notch assignment, regardless of the work load he carried at Thomson or at home. Kevin is also an extremely resourceful individual who if there is a way to get something done, he will move mountains to do so through his consideration and big picture thinking approach. His attention to detail and dedication to the teams he has worked on have been next to none. At the same time Kevin manages to balance working hard and playing hard very well; this in itself creates a strong work ethic and character in my opinion.

One of Kevin’s greatest attributes is his seemingly innate ability to see the big picture, identify opportunities, and take action. He is a truly creative thinker and it comes naturally for him to see real opportunities and solutions beyond the obvious obstacles that others might believe define a given problem.
