TTC's "DEFTAC" System is utilised by by government and private agencies that require an effective, practical and lawful Defensive Tactics system that addresses the unique needs of their operational environment. TTC DEFTAC system has an excellent track record in one of the most highly scrutinised security environments - the Perth Urban Rail Network - covered by an extensive CCTV system that records all Use of Force incidents for later review. TTC DEFTAC system has been successfully represented in the Criminal Courts and the Industrial Relations Court. Techniques from the DEFTAC system have been reviewed by the Corruptions and Crime Commission on numerous occasions when Public Officers (trained by TTC) have used force when performing their lawful duties.TTC DEFTAC techniques (when applied correctly) have always been found to comply with Use of Force guidelines during these investigations and have received positive comments. DEFTAC has also received a favourable response from representatives of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and State Solicitor's Office (SSO) in their review of Use of Force incidents concerning government law enforcement officers.
