Allegro is an initiative to realise the partnership between HPE and Microsoft based on Azure, Azure Stack, Windows Server Software Defined (WSSD) and Hybrid Cloud announced by Meg Whitman and Satya Nadella at HPE Discover in 2015.Achievements:• HPE is a dominant vendor in Azure Stack market.• Key contributor to Azure Stack and WSSD roadmaps. Currently driving a roadmap of innovation on Azure Stack to broaden the workloads supported and customer adoption• Azure Stack SME at major customer events like Ignite and the Azure Stack Airlift• Continuously engaged providing technical guidance and sales support to customers, partners and account teams worldwide.• Created the concept of the Azure Stack Innovation Center (ASIC), a key component of HPE customer and partner engagement.   Chief Technologist for Enterprise Integration and Development Business Unit in CGS. Achievements: • Lead Architect on the Integration 2000 and Integration 2002 initiatives. These were strategic initiatives between Microsoft and Compaq based on BizTalk Server and XML-based technologies. • Lead Architect of iOrchestrator, a complementary product to BizTalk Server that enabled integration of applications such as SAP R/3, Peoplesoft, Siebel, Clarify, Oracle Applications, CommerceOne and Clarus • Provided architectural guidance and review for large corporate accounts in a range of industries (e.g. Alliance and Leicester, UK – Banking; Interpay, NL – Finance; Solutia, USA – Manufacturing) • Led Compaq’s participation in a number of XML and web services standards organizations such as W3C, UDDI, OASIS and OAG. This was a six-tier architecture that proposed workflow as the development paradigm and incorporated application integration a key component.• Led the engineering team which implemented the Optus Phase II Architecture. SII is an object encapsulation of middleware derived from a number of standards from X/Open, OSI, ITU, OSF and OMG/CORBA.• Lead Architect of several customer care and call center applications and technical lead of the associated development projects.• Seconded to OptusVision as Chief Technical Architect for 6 months during their start-up phase

  Technical leader on wide area networking support for the launch of Digital’s new generation of computers, the Alpha Servers. Despite great secrecy and very aggressive schedules, this project was delivered on time met all quality and performance goals. These networking products continue to be a core component of OpenVMS.This involved several unique challenges, apart from working with prototype hardware, operating systems and compilers, including:• Developing a common code base across heterogeneous kernels.• Architected to use kernel threads enabling the products to scale unchanged across future multi-processor, hyper-threaded, multi-core systems• Using of C as a kernel development language for VMS.• Maintaining 100% compatibility with VAX/VMS interfaces.• The role also involved extensive mentoring of other team members.
