I am extremely proficient with the entire Adobe Creative Suite as well as Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer.   Since early 2019, I have been the Film teacher at the Betty Ann Norton Theatre School in Rathmines. In this role, I teach all aspects of film to students aged 10 to 18. I develop semester outlines and instructional plans for each class to ensure the students achieve the course objectives. I give a hands-on approach in teaching film and audio production including screenwriting, how to operate the camera, audio recorders and other necessary equipment. I demonstrate the postproduction skills required to organize and edit the student’s footage. Throughout my classes, I cover a wide range of subjects from the history of cinema, to film analysis and discussion. The objective for every student is that they participate and develop their skills each year in making a film (fiction or nonfiction), increase their media literacy, their interpersonal skills and have fun.
