Supervision and mentoring of Open gearing technicians within my division. Development of new business opportunities throughout Queensland and the Northern Territories. Responsible for collection and analysis of operating and condition based data on Open gear drives and associated equipment at mine sites and processing plants which is utilized as a management tool for on-site reliability centred maintenance program support, early fault detection and root cause analysis of critical assets. Collection and analysis of thermo graphic imagery (including video), vibration monitoring, high speed photography, temperature data and on-condition monitoring of contact flanks including wear rate trending. All data is collated and analysed utilizing computer software to produce detailed reports and recommendations. Project manage and participate in on-site major maintenance activities including change of lubrication products and application regimes, methods of lubrication application and fatigue/damage repair, and changes in maintenance programs to promote maximum asset life usage and reduce machine down time within budget parameters, health and safety constraints and customer deadlines. Promote sales of technical services, lubricants and delivery systems through development and maintenance of customer relationships and participation in all aspects of asset reliability management and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
