I was fortunate enough to have worked with Kevin and I him to be a self motivated safety professional with a can do attitude. He has the ability to communicate at all levels which allows the implementation of a positive safety culture. He is always willing to help and takes on projects to help the company achieve their health and safety targets. An asset to any company.

A NEBOSH Diploma qualified Health and Safety professional working on multi million pound, multi site construction contracts, with 10 years experience, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and legislation. Presentations are compiled and presented to the contract management team to improve knowledge of company procedures to ensure that managers are able to fulfil their roles with the ability to comply with company requirements and promote continual development. In depth site audits and inspections are undertaken to ensure compliance to both company and legislative requirements. This in turn will help to eliminate accidents and drive down the company AFR to ultimately reach the target of Zero Harm. In depth accident investigations are undertaken with root cause analysis, providing recommendations and actions to prevent recurrence and reduce contract/company AFR. Internal S,H & E audits are undertaken to highlight areas of non compliance within contracts. Action plans are then drawn up to ensure improvement in audit scores going forward. Identify initiatives and best practice to improve safety performance within the contract. This can then be shared throughout the company. Risk assessments and method statements written/reviewed as required to adivise and mentor management teams to ensure continual development. Monthly contract SHEQ meetings are chaired and monthly statistical reports presented. Highlighting both company and external SHE related issues ensures that all operational staff are aware. Review of company IMS is carried out on a continual basis using industry publications and websites to ensure legislative compliance. A lead role in the company journey to reach Zero Harm was undertaken and regular feedback on new initiatives to Senior SHE Management provided. Involved in new initiatives to reduce the likelihood of service strikes and associated outcomes. Show less
