Responsibilities: Completions, re-completions and workovers in Kaybob , Fox Creek, Brazeau River and Rocky Mountain House. Horizontal Duvernay Shale completions: Large high pressure slickwater and hybrid fracs. Single well and multi-well pads. Instrumental in working with Duvernay team to bring play to fruition and to reduce costs to make it viable. Horizontal Monteney completions: Maintained productivity while reducing completion costs by 50%. Horizontal Dunvegan completions: Pumping oil wells with up to a 1000 BBl/d initial production. Recompletions: Cardium, Notikewan, Cadomin, Gething and Monteny. Single, sandwiched perfs and multi-zone with oil fracs, foam fracs and propane fracs. Workovers: Downsize tubular and re-stimulate deep sour Nisku reef wells. Mentoring new engineers.

Responsibilities:  Completions in the Deep Basin / Foothills area. Completed 130+ wells with AFE costs of $175+ million. All sour operations in the Deep Basin / Foothills area. Horizontal Cardium oil completions. Multi-stage oil fracs, foam fracs and propane fracs. Horizontal Nikanassin gas completions: Multi-stage slick water fracs. Vertizontals - Multi-stage fracs in the horizontal and “stack fracs” in the vertical in areas with blanket comingling. Resource type plays in Deep Basin multiple zone “stack frac” comingled completions. Reduced completion costs by 30%. Critical sour completions in Coleman, Elmworth and Noel. Mentoring new engineers.

Completion Manager

Became Completions Manager when Coastal was purchased by El Paso in February, 2001. Completions: Deep Sour Foothills wells, High Pressure/High Temperature gas wells, oil wells, shallow gas wells, and injection wells in NE BC and across Alberta. Completed one of the top gas producers in Canada in December, 2002. The well, completed in the Slave Point with a BHT of 148°C and 18% CO2, produced 9 BCF in the first year problem free . Workovers and Re-Completions: Reduced Workovers in two areas acquired by El Paso from two rigs working full time to one rig working 50% of the time. Abandonments: Initiated a program to abandon and reclaim all suspended wells with no upside. Supervise staff of three employees and up to ten consultants.

The net value of Coachlight increased, over a 2 ½ year period, from $3.1 million to $9.9 million, prior to being sold. Drillcomp provided consulting services to the oil and gas industry: - Drilling and Completion of numerous wells in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario from 125m oil wells to 4500m sour gas wells. - Horizontal well drilling and completions in Alberta and Saskatchewan. - Project Management of multi well programs including AFE’s, economic analysis, surface rights, drilling, completions, pipelines, facilities, purchasing, cost control and day to day operations. - Production Optimization through numerous projects involving submersible pump installation, gas lift installation, workovers, recompletions, stimulations and facility upgrades. - Property Management of oil and gas properties in Alberta and Ontario including production accounting, accounting, payroll, land and management of day to day operations. - Deliverability Studies on major gas fields with recommendations including ultimate and recoverable reserves, gas plant sizing and debottlenecking, pipeline sizing, routing and looping, drilling locations, workovers, gas contracts and long term production and cash flow predictions for economic analysis. - Prepared and conducted a computer simulation of a large oil and gas field in central Alberta including a 125 MMCF/D gas plant, extensive pipeline system and over 100 wells.
