  I officiate high school wrestling matches and tournaments in my spare time. Being an ex wrestler I enjoy the sport. I encourage young children to compete in wrestling as it develops discipline, confidence, toughness, balance and is an overall character builder. Wrestlers, one in four actually compete for four years in high school, are mentally and physically tough. Wrestlers have confidence and are the people who get the jobs and what they want from life.   I am an honorably retired Police Officer, holding the rank of Detective, assigned to Robbery - Homicide. I have multiple years as a midnight patrolman, a motorcycle traffic officer, Field Training Officer and Detective where I worked in Narcotics, and Robbery-Homicide. I was a member of the SWAT team for several years, a member of the Officer Involved Shooting Team and Critical Incident Investigator. I am a highly decorated officer, being named as the Police Officer of the Year in 1997 and honored by the California State Assembly for Dedication to Law Enforcement. I am a criminal profiler, expert witness in street and prison gangs and in controlled substance influence. I have had two verified contracts on my life as a result of my tenacious and relentless investigations. I had to retire early due to a work related injury, being a total knee replacement. Show less
