Increasing efficiency in used vehicle reconditioning processes to boost used car sales. Managing 75-125 used vehicles through work flow on a sub 60 day turn and having a fresh vehicle ready to sell within 7 days. I work hand in hand with the Used Car Manager and 45 independent Brokers to prioritize sold vehicles over inventory vehicles through the process and recondition the vehicle to levels above state requirements to give Centennial Leasing & Sales a high reputation. I daily interact with three to four independent repair shops, all local dealers for warranty work and OEM parts orders, along with six to ten independent businesses for reconditioning services. Duties also include accurate posting of invoices for parts and repairs, advertising vehicles, and miscellaneous repairs on vehicles, and direct management of the Lot Technician. Show less

During my time at Manheim I handled the FCA factory account, TD Auto Finance, Avis Budget Group, Hertz and DTG (Including the Dealer Direct process), Enterprise, Toyota factory turnback as well as being trained in the Nissan factory account. This provided experience in Inventory management for average 300 vehicles per account including post sale reporting and funds transfer. One of the ways I was able to help was by build a strong relationship between Manheim Denver and Toyota. The relationship build between the Auction Manager and I was key in improving the condition report process, as well as improving profit for the company by changing the level of detail for each vehicle. As a result of the growth and understanding from my training and then experience, I was assigned the responsibility of training two new employees. Both employees succeeded as a result of the training and were able to handle the accounts assigned for them for a time. Cross training was provided and I was able to experience the arbitration department, as well as being on the auction block representing the accounts and selling the vehicles. The time spent learning the buyers and the auctioneers has helped now that I am on the other side of the auction block. Show less

Started working for DTC in New Mexico. Became a trusted expert in wheels and tires. Transferred to DTC in Colorado and learned the role of Crew Chief. During that time I trained new employees and strengthened shop workflow. Transferred back to New Mexico and learned Apprentice Technician roles. Both management of backroom and customer service were sharpened during that time. Back in Colorado, the final months of my time at DTC were spent in the showroom as an Apprentice Sales Tech. Addition skills I learned are: - Customer service experience and negotiation skills. - Creating and receiving purchase orders - Adjustments on used tires/credits for returns to manufacturer. - High proficiency in working on vehicles. - Management of 2-10 employees.
