I was on the frontline of The Human Resources Department where I assisted current team members in applying for available openings in the company, setting up Health Benefits, answering general questions. I processed candidate applications, scheduled interviews, orientations, and ensured documents were correctly filled out and processed. I am knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Word. I utiliezed Workday, Peoplesoft, and E-hire. I was actively involved in I-9 Onboarding and was asked to learn and implement a new process of Record Retention for the facility. I was responsible for every paper record created, its filing and destruction according to company policy. I took workplace complaints and provided them to Sr. Management. I created reports for Sr. management based on data I personally collected over several years.

I began this journey by building, monitoring and maintaining aerial adventure parks in the United States for our parent company, Outdoor Ventures Group. I quickly moved into the role of overseeing day to day operations, both internal and external, with a staff of up to 40 people. I was a liaison between the corporate structure and the operations level with little to no oversight and guidance. I trained, consulted and maintained operations at multiple parks located in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire. I had the honor of being invited to sit on the initial safety standards development meeting for the Aerial Adventure Park Industry. During this position, I received the very first award given out by the ACCT, Best Non-Video Marketing, for a parade float I constructed consisting of ziplines and other obstacles.

Monitor, assist and "rescue" all guests on high ropes Aerial Adventure Park with over 30 zip lines and 200 platforms in the tree canopy. On the build team of industry award winning "Labyrinth," the first multilevel playground in the tree canopy. I was also the creator of a program called "Run the Gauntlet." GVOLC is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide quality learning experiences that promote growth and nourish the development of individuals of all ages and backgrounds in an experiential learning setting through the use of grass games, low/high challenge courses, and team building techniques. I maintained 400+ acres and facilities, challenge courses, farm & farm animals. I supervised up to 50 staff and was in charge of the purchasing. I provided experiential education to grades K - 12, college, and corporate levels, including various special needs populations. I was honored to be selected as a Wellness Program Trainer, where I trained Baltimore County and City, teachers, and principals, in grass games, initiatives, and low ropes usage that they shared with their classes.
