  Growing tired of being able to help some homeless veterans and leave others homeless in the woods and under bridges etc. due to programmatic restrictions and limitations, I partnered with my friend Chris Stout to start Veterans Community Project and build a village of tiny houses for homeless veterans. I developed all corporate and donor engagement and partnerships. I also developed a grass roots fundraising and community engagement strategy that was very successful. More importantly, we gave homeless veterans in Kansas City a voice and the hope they needed as a startup non-profit. Veterans Community Project Vision -To fulfill the needs of veterans.
