Kevin is a great team player to work with. At Branch, Kevin helped security team to fix a dozen of potential security issues and we worked closely to make sure the higher security standard will not reduce the performance. When working with him, he surprised me on how he could deliver high quality productions by working with different team. I really appreciate the effort and diligence he spend on helping Branch to build a higher security standard.

I reported directly to Kevin at Branch and I can tell you that Kevin is one of the most talented and humble individuals I've ever worked with. He was super invested in my growth and provided me with opportunities to learn and level up my skillset. As a manager, he was hands off but acted as a sounding board for many technical decisions and hurdles the team faced. He oversaw the rollout of metric collection for services that moved into our work stream. Doing so gave us insight into how the services were performing and allowed us to brainstorm performance upgrades - he lead the charge on this as well. In addition, he helped code review and triage so many difficult and nuanced issues across the board from dealing with SSO issues, to race conditions in various services, to issues with internal tools that would cause customers lots of pain. At times, he would troubleshoot something to the point where an engineer just needs to make a small code change to get the system working correctly again. As a manager, Kevin can do it all and more importantly he can do it with a smile on his face, an amazing attitude and with genuine interest for your career/growth. I'd love to work with Kevin in the future.

I joined Branch as part of an acqui-hire. The first eight months I focused on individual contributor duties and driving feature parity on Branch systems with the goal of migrating all clients within those eight months. In the remaining time I served as a more traditional engineering manager, owning parts of UI infrastructure and various products through shared systems. This unique evolution allowed me to get hands-on experience with the systems I would eventually own.… Show more I joined Branch as part of an acqui-hire.
