Supervising Crane-op, Deck Foreman & Deck Crews with regards to deck planning and vessel movements. Supervising vessel loading/unloading and any bulk movements to the rig. Identifying equipment for backloading and replacement as and when required inline with all drilling and workover programmes. I was also the rig Enviromental champion. This means that I am the focal point for all environmental issues on the rig which include waste segregation and ensuring the zero spills to sea policy is adhered to. Prepare & distribute daily operations & logistics look-ahead in conjunction with the Talisman DSV. When at Talisman from time to time I covered in the office onshore & at the base. This was dealing with inbound & outbound cargo using the T-Max system. Booking all inbound cargo and units back into the base. Working out tonnages received over the quay with the paperwork received from the Quayside Supervisors. Liaise daily with Rig site and Onshore Drilling Dept to discuss requirements and ensure timely and cost effective transportation of materials to offshore locations.
