In the Complex General Manager role, my responsibilities stayed the same as they were in a General Manager role. However, as a Complex General Manager, my responsibilities now spanned over 2 clubs. This position was developed as a bridge between General Manager and Area Manager. While maintaining sales, recruiting, development at my home club, I oversaw the General Manager of the second club in the same areas. At this point, I had a responsibility to ensure the other club's General Manager became elite at the same systems and processes that I had found success with at my club.

In my time as a General Manager, I had 3 different Assistant Managers - all whom were replaced because they had been developed to become General Managers of their own clubs. My number one priority as a General Manager was to learn and develop the laws of replication. I focused on team development and getting my people better for their next roles.
