  Newcastle College is one of the biggest and most successful providers of Further Education and Higher Education in a FE establishment.During my time with the college i have worked up from a Part time member of staff to a Course leader within Higher Education in the school of Computing.In my current role i am responsible for the management of four Higher education Foundation Degrees and the students that enroll into them, i was also part of the team that wrote some of these degrees and got them validated with Leeds Metropolitan university before been awarded our own Foundation Degree teaching powers.The Degrees i am responsible for are;FdSc Computer ForensicsFdSc Network and Security TechnologiesFdSc Software Application DevelopmentFdSc Website Development and ManagementAlso in my role i am teaching a full timetable of approx 24 hours a week at levels 4 to 5.Some of the subjects i teach are;Fundamentals of ProgrammingServer AdministrationObject Orientated ProgrammingDigital StorytellingPenetration TestingData Retrieval and AnalysisEncryption and SecurityWeb and Information SecurityMaths for Computer GamesFurther NetworkingNetwork SecuritySwitchingWan technologies and network designWork Based LearningPersonal and Professional Development
