  I worked as the Plant Operations Maintenance Supervisor for Apotex Pharmachem Inc., a global fully integrated API, R&D and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company located in Brantford, ON. In this role I lead the company’s efforts, overseeing a team of Millwrights, Electricians, Instrumentation Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Inventory and Maintenance Support Office Staff. In addition to taking on a key role to implement MP2 (Infor) and the SAP Maintenance Modules my most challenging work to date has been creating and implementing Preventative Maintenance Programs to the high standards of the pharmaceutical industry for over 3600 pieces of unique equipment and instruments. Not only was this a challenge to develop such programs, they are continuously measured against operating efficiencies, costs and campaign planning on an ongoing basis to ensure maximum efficiencies.
