Working on Cork's #1 talk show. Coordinating each show, 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. Getting guests and creating content to encourage debate on air. Running social media channels and researching stories for air. Working to curate each program and liaising directly with the presenter to ensure a smooth workflow. Also contribute on the show, directly on air in the studio, and also conducting voxpops and producing packages on a wide range of topics. Coordinating help for our listeners. We have helped listeners get passports, housing, help for their homes, animals, children, and much much more. Editing and producing promotional material for on-air use, designing graphics and creating mechanics for on-air competitions. Liaising with different sections of the station, sharing stories and contacts, and working with advertisers, to create quirky and interesting content that appeals to our listeners. Show less

I am the creator, play-by-player commentator, promoter and technician of the first ever club sponsored live match commentary service in the League of Ireland, Cork City FC's 'Rebel Radio'. Since first going on air in February 2013 our service has drawn nearly 50,000 hits and counting. We have listeners all over the world who tune in every week and have extended our service and the quality of service more and more over the years where we now have a team of commentators ready to help, and guests from around the country. Clips in the show have been used in National Radio broadcasts on stations such as Newstalk. Show less

    • Communications Executive
      • Feb 2017 - Oct 2017

For much of 2017 I worked with Munster Rugby providing Maternity Cover to the role of Communications Executive for the 'Domestic Game' side of the organisation. This involved working as a press officer at the major domestic game events such as club cup finals and major schools games in both the Junior and Senior Cups. The majority of this role was creating content for both print and online outlets, constructing press releases, working on publicity around major games, and liaising with clubs and schools in order to update content. I also worked with Munster's video producer to present video content and conduct interviews for the website, as well as with our graphic designer on posters, programmes, and promotional material. Away from my usual role, I also assisted my fellow Communications colleagues in producing content and match reports for major games the Pro side were involved in, such as the Pro 14 final, and European Champions Cup semi-final.
