Sep 2015 - Apr 2016
I completed my clinical fellowship experience at the Cheshire Center, where I was assigned to an elementary school in rural NC. I gained an invaluable amount of experience in time management, skilled assessment reports, SOAP note etiquette, and coordinated intervention for preK-5 children whose skills were behind those of same-aged students. Working with parents, teachers and peers, I provided assessment and intervention for over 40 children at this school, and managed a diverse caseload including severe-profound nonverbal ASD, severe-profound nonverbal CP, and APD, as well as the typical articulation and language delays common in elementary settings.
