I was responsible for implementation of software to control mobile ground stations (news vans and flyaways) for the broadcast and IP markets. The software managed a suite of hardware components, autonomously establishing a satellite uplink, downloading the broadcast schedule, programming the encoder and receiver settings, and bringing up and down the transmission at the correct times and frequencies.
