Constructed cryogenically compatible cables and harnesses allowing the cooling capacity to be measured at various points on an adiabatic demagnetization refrigerator. Drew designs using Solidworks 3D-modeling software for infrared shielding to certain devices which were determined to be leaking infrared radiation within an adiabatic demagnetization refrigerator. Performed deflection analyses using Comsol Multiphysics to determine the deflection of potential load-bearing structures used to support cryogenic detectors cooled by an adiabatic demagnetization refrigerator.
