  Supported largest BP Exploration team in the UK consisting of 200 geo-physicists, petro-physicists and geologists; reported to Subsurface Data Lead.Data Cleansing: Led project to clean and consolidate approximately 400 terabytes of seismic and well data for the team resulting in significant cost savings and the archiving of approximately 100 terabytes of old data. Utilised SQL and designed dashboard to allow for cross-team analysis of data metrics;Quality Management: Undertook regular quality control and loading of raw 2D and 3D seismic geological data and interpreted to deliver best quality data to the team;Data Reporting: Created weekly and monthly reports on all incoming and outgoing data, presented at weekly team business meetings. Utilised Spotfire;Spatial Mapping: Created, updated and reported well and survey map data regularly using ArcGIS to ensure geographical positions were correct and updated with latest industry/company data;Client Liaison: Liaised regularly with external clients/contractors regarding incoming and outgoing data to ensure data quality, compatibility and security.Collaboration: Collaborated with senior geo-physicists and geologists on site and in Houston regarding the transfer of working and finished data sets to ensure consistency in the geological data across BP regions;Crisis Management/Problem Solving: Successfully oversaw the transfer and back-up of 30 terabytes of sensitive company data from the Cairo office during political unrest in Egypt in 2013 and ensured data security facilitating the subsequent reopening of the Cairo office; Data Management: Managed all aspects of data merging of the UK based West Nile Delta team of 20 and the Egypt based East Nile Delta team of 15 to facilitate company expansion;Best Practice: Developed best practice data management guidelines for the team in the UK and Cairo through presentations, formal documents and one on one sessions to achieve standardised data management practices.
